ABOUT MONTANA MARGARET
Location
Montana Margaret is a luxury apartment in a peaceful location on the edge of the village of Puerto Pollensa, in northern Mallorca. It has a perfect location: a short walk from local amenities and beach (pictured above), and with views of the Boquer valley and the spectacular mountain ridge that is the backdrop to the village.
It is ideally situated close to amenities (200m to a good supermarket, 800m to the central seafront and Pine Walk, but with peace and views away from the bustle of the village centre.
Accommodation
Montana Margaret has been furnished to a high standard to offer comfort and luxury to guests. It has a large, spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area with beautiful wooden flooring throughout. The lounge area offers Satellite TV and a DVD player and has a large sofa with chaise-long. The dining area is next to the extremely well equipped modern kitchen. The whole apartment is light and bright with large sliding glass doors from the living room onto the decking / balcony area. The large decked terrace is ideal for relaxing or dining to mountain views.
The property has two bedrooms with fitted double wardrobes. There is a king size bedroom and the second bedroom has two single beds. Additional sleeping is possible in the living room on the large sofa that converts to a doube bed. There is also a cot.
Amenities include a washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, TV, satellite, free Wifi, cot. Any other equipment can be hired locally (high chairs, mobility equipment etc.). The apartment has full air-conditioning / central heating.
There is also a communal swimming pool shared exclusively by the eight flats in the building. Sunbeds are located at the poolside.
Wheelchair accessible
Montana Margaret has been designed with level access and wide doors. The front door is accessed via a gently sloping ramp (1 in 12) into a generously sized hall area. Within the apartment there are no lips or steps, and is easy to move around with a wheelchair or other mobility aid, given the spacious open plan design and large bedrooms.
The doors / windows all have electric button operated blinds / shutters. The king-size bedroom has space to access with a wheelchair around all sides of the bed, including access to the large double wardrobe and the sliding doors (the bed is 155cm wide, 47cm high, has 1m of space to pass at the foot of the bed and 1m20cm at either side of the bed). The second bedroom has two single beds and a large double wardrobe and has sufficient space for a wheelchair user, particularly if the beds are positioned side by side.
The recently refurbished bathroom now has a level-floor shower and a fold-up chair should you need to be seated whilst showering.
Should you require any further mobility aids for your stay, they can be hired locally at Pollensa Care in the village centre, and can be arranged to be at the apartment for your arrival.
